Avenged Sevenfold - Afterlife

Artist: Avenged Sevenfold
Song: Afterlife
Album: Avenged Sevenfold (Get the album on Amazon)

The music video is cool but if you're more interested in listening to the song rather than seeing the band I reccomend watching this (Full album version) instead because so many good parts are cut out in the video.
The song is written by The Rev, which is kind of ironic considering the theme of the lyrics. The song is also filled with The Rev's amazing drumming and (on the album version) vocals.
M. Shadows is the lead singer and he has a great voice for this type of music.
The guitars are awesome. The riffs are great, but it's the solo that really stands out. It's quite fast and it matches the feel of the song. It's also really hard to learn to play!

I hope you like it :)

  1. I absolutely love this song, and I agree that M. Shadows has a great voice. You're right about the irony about The Rev writing this song. The same goes for the songs "Fiction" and "Brompton Cocktail".
    - The Unseen And Unheard

    1. Hadn't heard those two before. They are nice :)
      The Rev was a genius!
