Manet - Vacuity
Okay, I seem to have a tendency for taking really long breaks.
I'm back for now to share a really nice music video, made by some friends of mine. The band is called Manet and they play indie/folk music.
I like the song and the video is beautiful.
I hope you like it :)

Avantasia, Mystery of Time available for pre order
It's going to be released March 30th, but you can pre-order it now. Like, right now... go do it!
I believe it's going to be very awesome.
How can it not be with Tobias Sammet making the music. In addition to several of the old Avantasians, Tobias has enlisted the talents of some great new people:
- Joe Lynn Turner (Vocals)
- Bill Byford (Vocals)
- Ronnie Atkins (Vocals)
- Eric Martin (Vocals)
- Russell Gilbrook (Drums)
- Arjen Anthony Lucassen (Guitar)
"Those dreams that you
Hummed to yourself once
How far will you reach out
To make them come true"
- Avantasia - Invoke The Machine
You can hear for yourself in this "pre-listening" that they have released:
I hope you buy it, and then like it a lot! :)

Robben Ford - How Deep In The Blues
Robben Ford is an amazing guitarist. I really enjoy listening to how he improvises! The melodies and the way he phrases is really interesting. This might not be too interesting for non-guitarists, but it's a really nice song, so I hope you're able to enjoy it anyways!

Update, I've become a Squid! (on Squidoo)
If you're paying attention to this blog you might have noticed that i posted a link to a squidoo lens about a week and a half ago.
I have indeed joined squidoo and will be writing some lenses there in the future. I'll post links to the ones about music here so that you can read them (hopefully).
Here's my latest lens, about Avantasia: http://www.squidoo.com/avantasia-why-i-love-it
I hope you read it and like it :)
If you do like it, it really helps me if you share it (or any of my lenses) on facebook and/or twitter.

Demetri Martin. Person. A recommendation.
Doing something a bit different this time. I just watched "Demetri Martin. Person." and I wanted to recommend it to whoever reads this.
It's a stand up comedy special with a person, appropriately named Demetri Martin. This movie is quite funny, a bit thought provoking and at some points just hilarious.
I like Martin's approach on the whole stand up comedy thing. He uses charts, drawings, music (a lot of music actually) and short, but very funny animated videos.
"How fast does a zebra have to run before it turns grey?"
"If I ever saw an amputee getting hanged, I'd probably just start calling out letters"
If you want to watch it, you can buy it here:
I hope you do watch it, and if you do, I hope you like it :)

Avantasia - Invoke The Machine, Mystery Of Time (first track)
Avantasia has released the first track for their upcoming album "The Mystery Of Time".
It features Ronnie Atkins (Pretty Maids) in addition to Tobias Sammet on vocals.
I like the addition of Atkins. His vocals are really nice.
Sascha Paeth and Oliver Hartmann returns on guitar (with an awesome solo) and Russell Gilbrook (Uriah Heep) plays the drums.
I think the song is awesome! I'm looking forward to the album.
It's going to be released March 30.
If you haven't heard Avantasia before, or just need more you can buy their previous albums here
I hope you like it :)
