This is a really cool song from 1962. The song mostly consists of bass, drums and vocals, though you can hear things like horn instruments occasionally.
The vocal harmonies are great. The idea for the intro came from warm ups, in which they would sing "Do do do do" and that was developed to what you can hear now.
Gene Chandler sounds great in this song. His voice and way of singing is what makes this song great.
