Asia - Face On The Bridge

Lyrics (There, I wrote them down. Please tell me if I got it wrong):

It was a day just like any other day
I walked alone through the old town
What happened then would have happened anyway
The world had stopped turning and time stood still

What could it be that set you apart from the people I meet
Thousands of faces, there's only one I can see
A face in the crowd that's calling so loud that it hurts me
Here in this place you are the face on the bridge

I hung up my hat to the king of Bohemia
I gave my thanks for she set me free
When love has cooled I will simply not be here
The face on the bridge made a man of me

What could it be that set you apart from the people I meet
Thousands of faces, there's only one I can see
A face in the crowd that's calling so loud that it hurts me
Here in this place you are the face on the bridge

You offered your hand you brought me back from the edge
Here in this place you are the face on the bridge

(Awesome guitar solo)

What could it be that set you apart from the people I meet
Thousands of faces, there's only one I can see
A face in the crowd that's calling so loud that it hurts me
Here in this place you are the face on the bridge

You offered your hand you brought me back from the edge
Here in this place you are the face on the bridge

You are the face on the bridge
You are... (repeat^)

Artist: Asia
Song: Face On The Bridge
Album: XXX

This is the first single of their third album after the reunion of the original line-up. For those who don't know, that's John Wetton (Bass and Vocals), Geoff Downes (Keyboards), Steve Howe (Guitar) and Carl Palmer (Drums). The band can be labeled as a "supergroup" as all of these were quite successful before Asia was formed in 1981. They are all very talented musicians and they all contribute to the song to make it better and create that beautiful mix of sounds. I think their playing complements each others.
Geoff Downes has some really cool fast keyboard stuff in the second verse. They're just small bursts of speed, but they create a nice effect.
Steve Howe's guitar solo is awesome. It's like an extension of the chorus. The way he uses tension and release is great. You can really feel it on that last note.

I hope you like it :)
