Queen - Stone Cold Crazy

Artist: Queen
Song: Stone Cold Crazy
Album: Sheer Heart Attack (Get the album on Amazon)

This is the heaviest song I've heard by Queen. It's a very fast song and is a predecessor to speed metal.
It starts of with just Brian May making this guitar sound and Roger Taylor playing the hi-hat. The heavy guitars, drums and bass soon kicks in. Freddie sings really well on this song. I'm not a singer, but singing that fast sounds difficult to my ears.
Freddie originally played the song in Wreckage, the band he was in before Queen, but the songwriting credits go to the entire band due to the fact that they made a lot of changes before recording it.
Brian May also has a short, but really good, guitar solo.

I hope you like it :)

  1. I like cover of that song made by Metallica. You can also find a video on YouTube where Hetfield is performing that song with Queen and Iommi. :)

  2. They were good, but I think Mercury sings it better than Hetfield.
