Rock Of Ages (The movie)

I just wanted to let you know that I've seen this movie.
I really enjoyed it :) For those of you that don't mind the fact that it's basically a musical, I definitely recommend it. There's lots of great songs :)

Just a little bonus since I didn't post anything yesterday. Here's Dorje, a rock band from the UK that I discovered through the youtube channel of Rob Chapman.
I thought the video was entertaining and also a bit educational, but mostly just fun and cool.

Movies about music, a list

I've decided to make this list because I can't find any one list that has all the music-movies that I want, so I'm making it myself. Ths will feature documentaries, some live movies and other movies where music plays a big part.
I'm only including movies I've actually seen.

Documentaries/Interviews:
- Metal: A Headbangers Journey
A documentary on heavy metal, the history, culture and some cool interviews. 
- Classic Albums: (VH1 Series) (I've seen some of them)
Very interesting documentaries on how some of the best albums in the world are made.
- Some Kind Of Monster
Follows Metallica in the making of St. Anger.
- Global Metal
Metal in different countries.
- Anvil! The story of Anvil
The story of Anvil. A band who were a big part of the thrash metal movement, but didn't become very successful. 
- Until the light takes us
A documentary on black metal.
- Iron Maiden: Flight 666
Iron Maiden gets their own airplane :)
- Heavy: The story of Metal
Pretty much the same concept as Metal: A Headbangers Journey.
- This Is Spinal Tap
A rockumentary parody that is hilarious.
- It Might Get Loud
Jimmy Page, The Edge and Jack White meets to talk about guitar. Very awesome!
- When You're Strange
A documentary about The Doors
- Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story (Not a documentary, but based on the actual history of the band)
A movie where the plot is very much based on the history of Def Leppard. Very cool and moving.
- Ozzy Osbourne Blizzard Of Ozz and Diary Of A Madman 30th anniversary.
About Ozzy's transition to a solo career and his work with Randy Rhoads.
- Dream Theater The Spirit Carries On
Documenting their drummer auditions. Quite interesting.

My guitar cover of Unholy Confessions by A7X

Here's what I did today. I learned most of it yesterday and some of it (like the harmony parts on guitar) today. I then recorded it, and the end result is in the video above. I'm rather pleased with how it turned out, though I could have spent more time finding a better guitar tone and such. I found the lack of a solo in this song disturbing, so I made one up :) If you want to learn it too, here's where I learned most of it from: A7X - Unholy Confessions (guitar lesson) I was too lazy (and not skilled enough) to learn it all by ear.

Hi everybody!
I got kind of curious about how many songs there are with the title Stargazer(s). I noticed that there are quite a lot of them, and most of them are quite good too.
